A5060

Immunoblotting
Whole cell extract of chicken gizzard was separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted with Rabbit Anti-Actin (Cat. No. A5060). The antibody was developed with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Alkaline Phosphatase conjugate (Cat. No. A9919) and NBT/BCIP substrate.
Lanes
A: Antibody dilution 1:500

Anti-Actin (20-33) antibody produced in rabbit

IgG fraction of antiserum, buffered aqueous solution

MDL number:MFCD01092261

Description

ImmunogenN-terminal actin peptide (amino acid residues 20-33) attached to a multiple antigen peptide (MAP) backbone.
Other NotesTo view an Actin antibody selection guide, please visit www.sigmaaldrich.com/actin.
SpecificityThe antibody shows a broad reactivity among actin isoforms and across a range of organisms. It specifically stains typical stress fibers in cultured cells using an indirect immunofluorescent labeling technique and can be used as a probe of the N-terminal region of actin.
Physical formSolution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative.
